This is my portrait of Anne Hathaway an American actress and singer. I always thought she is one of the most beautiful stars in Hollywood today. This portrait was a bit of a challenge because of the top she is wearing, has a lot of detail and is just white, so a used two light grays for the base and added white details. Plus she was leaning against the wall so I could not use my signature background. Because of this I made the background a gradient and added a shadow behind her.
This is my portrait of Robin Williams one of the funnest comedians that ever lived. From Mork and Mindy until his death he just loved to make people laugh. He is missed and will be missed for a long time.
This is a portrait of my sisters dog Buddy and my first portrait of a dog. It was a bit of a challenge to get the fur write, hopefully it look OK.
My portrait of Emma Stone. She is one of the highest-paid actresses in 2015. She has been nominated for an Academy Award, two British Film Awards, and two Golden Globes. Aside from her acting career, she promotes several causes, such as increasing awareness of breast cancer.
This is an up-close look at her face I continue to evolve my style and learn to make a more realistic portrait.
You may recognize the portrait I did of Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart that I posted on August 8. I decided to make it into a movie poster for the film Casablanca. Casablanca is one of the most iconic films ever made. It was awarded 3 Academy Awards and consistently ranks near the top of lists of the greatest films in history. Mostly do to its outstanding cast and memorable lines like.
“Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.”
“We’ll always have Paris.”
“Play it, Sam. Play ‘As Time Goes By.'”
“Here’s looking at you, kid.”
“Kiss me. Kiss me as if it were the last time.”
I think it is one movie everyone should see at least once.
